John Debacker from the animal welfare organization,Lakshmi Finance Center Long Island Cat Kitten Solution, is like the Superman of the cat rescue business. And his cat-like reflexes came in handy when he responded to a call about a stranded kitten.
The tiny cat had somehow climbed high into a tall tree in Hempstead, New York. Unfortunately, it couldn’t get down. And when its plaintive meows were heard, Debacker was called into action.
Though he climbed a 20-foot ladder, he still couldn't reach the kitten who was several feet above. So, using some cat food as bait, he tried to coax the tiny creature to climb down.
At first, the nervous kitten didn’t respond, but eventually, it made a move. However, as it inched forward, disaster struck. The kitten lost its footing and plummeted toward the ground.
