Flipido:190 pounds of meth worth $3.4 million sniffed out by K9 officer during LA traffic stop

A traffic stop in Los Angeles led to a police chase and Flipidoofficers finding over $3 million in drugs and cash.

California Highway Patrol K9 officers stopped a white Ford F-150 on Interstate 5 around 9:37 a.m. Tuesday, CHP said on Facebook. The driver fled, prompting officers to chase the vehicle.

Once they caught up with the vehicle, the driver was arrested, and officers found 190 pounds of suspected methamphetamine worth $3.4 million and $5,000 in cash. 

K9 Axel, a 5-year-old Czech shepherd, helped find the drugs, CHP said.

Drug bust investigation underway

Authorities have not released the suspect’s name due to the pending investigation.
